The existential musings of a conscious goldpiece at the end of the world. Feeling it has betrayed it's favorite subjects - humans, it can do nothing but observe their demise as their primary source of life gets engulfed in the flames of darkness. Not even able to give them the comfort it normally could, it is the humans that, albeit unconsciously, comfort the goldpiece - this strange archivist.

As the last human draws their final breath before becoming one with the piercing darkness, there is nobody to observe Golden Trebuchet anymore - and thus "he" gets fulfilled his biggest wish - the experience of death. If only he knew the meaning of it..
